Raga Kausi Bhairavi - Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, sarod, and Kishen Maharaj, tabla. A raga composed by Ustad Alluddhin Khan, it consists of Kaushi Kanada in the ascending scale (C, Eb, F, Ab, Bb, C) and Bhairavi in the descending scale (C, Bb, Ab, G, F, Eb, Db, C). Two great masters in this wonderful recording. 1960s.

Other Styles and Genres

Bhara Thak Smritisudhai sung by Chinmoy Chatterjee. This is one of the great songs composed by Radindranath Tagore, India's greatest poet.

sung by Lata Mangeshkar. She is one of the most-recorded singers in the entire world. Her voice continues to enchant millions of Indian people. She is India's greatest film singer.
