Bageshree is one of North India's most popular ragas. It lends itself to both light and serious treatment very well. It is very distinctive and instantly recognizable by the attentive listener.

Shivkumar and Brijbhushan This is a great example of the playfullness that Raga Bageshree can conjure. A rare recording from the 1960s featuring Shivkumar on santoor (Indian hammered dulcimer) and Brijbhushan on guitar.
