Robert Schumann (1810-1856)

    

Robert Schumann was a very important Romantic Era composer. Following the lead of Beethoven, Schumann helped usher in a new era in romantic music. He composed piano pieces, songs, choral music, orchestral music, concertos, and chamber works.
